100 Seconds to Midnight

It’s mid-January and an annual UBC snowball fight was cancelled due to snow. It’s as if Ma Nature’s pranking us, taking a chapter of irony from Kurt Vonnegut. We mourn for the fallen Notre Dame Cathedral whose presence is impossible without the resources to build it. Those resources are burning away, yet how much do we weep for them?
